The Isaiah Stewart Learning Center

The Isaiah Stewart Learning Center is a free after-school program serving students in grades 1 through 12 in Rochester, New York. The program is designed to support students academically, socially, and emotionally while providing a safe, structured environment after school.

Through intentional programming, students receive the support they need to succeed in school, build confidence, and develop skills that prepare them for future success. The Isaiah Stewart Learning Center is committed to creating opportunities that help students thrive both inside and outside of the classroom.

Through customized tutoring and enrichment opportunities, we enhance academic performance and promote healthy lifestyles, leadership skills, and 21st-century technology, empowering students to become the leaders of tomorrow.

Program Features

Homework Support

Students receive assistance with daily homework assignments in a supportive environment. Staff work closely with students to reinforce classroom learning, improve study habits, and build academic confidence. 

Hot Meals

All students are provided with hot meals daily, ensuring they are nourished and ready to engage fully in academic and enrichment activities.

Intervention Enrichment

Targeted intervention is provided for students who need additional academic support, while enrichment opportunities challenge students and encourage critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving. 

Transportation

Transportation is available to ensure students can safely participate in the program and return home after dismissal.
